BEST IN CLASS AWARD 2025:
THE BEST E-CARS OF THE YEAR

Best in class Award 2025.png

electricar , the magazine for tomorrow's mobility, honors the best electric models in all categories in cooperation with the Institute for New Mobility. BEST IN CLASS is the specialist award for electric cars.

Ten models were nominated based on hard facts in seven categories (small cars to luxury cars, as well as SUVs and light vehicles). Companies were also able to submit their own models in five additional categories (design, city car, family car, fleet vehicle, and pioneers of the mobility transition).

A jury of renowned experts selected and evaluated all electric cars offered in Germany based on their specifications. Efficiency and sustainability were just as important in the evaluation process as driving performance, comfort, and quality. After the jury selected five finalists in each category, the winners of each class were chosen from the remaining candidates. The "Best E-Car 2025" was also chosen from the winners of each individual category (with the exception of the "Pioneer of the Mobility Transition" category).

BEST IN CLASS Award 2025: the winners of all twelve categories

The winners in all categories were ceremoniously announced in front of the audience and industry representatives during the e4 Testival at the Hockenheimring and were awarded the BEST IN CLASS Award.
These electric cars were the ones that impressed our jury the most and secured one of the coveted awards.
